Issue Description:
The Network Storage Group has identified a disk firmware bug associated
with the Seagate 9GB ST39173WC disk drives with rev. 5084 firmware.

ISP timeouts and register dumps have been experienced during testing of
an Enterprise Server with the following configuration:

  	1. The Enterprise Server boots from a D1000.

	2. The D1000 unit is configured with Seagate 9GB ST39173WC
           disks with rev. 5084 firmware.

	3. Raid Manager 6.1.1 software has been installed.

	4. A1000(s) is also attached to the Enterprise server.

Abbreviated example of error messages reported shown below:

 Oct 09 12:18:18 da044 unix: SCSI Cable/Connection problem.
 Oct 09 12:18:18 da044 unix: WARNING: ISP: Hardware/Firmware error
 Oct 09 12:18:18 da044 unix: WARNING: /sbus@f,0/QLGC,isp@0,10000 (isp4):
Oct 09 12:18:18 da044 unix: Fatal error, resetting interface
Oct 09 12:18:18 da044 unix: isp4: State dump from isp registers and driver:

The problem described above is a result of the handling of an invalid LUN,
the controller needs to restore the contents of the SCSI command FIFO. In
firmware 9J4_5084, the controller is asserting the IO line during this FIFO
restoration. This assertion of the IO line would occur while the drive was
in the message out phase which changed the phase to message in. This asser-
tion of the IO line and/or subsequent phase change was the apparent cause
of the failure.
Implementation:

Corrective Action:
The ISP timeouts and subsequent register dumps described above associated
with Enterprise Servers booting from a D1000 with Seagate ST39173WC disks
that have rev. 5084 firmware, A1000(s) attached and RM6.1.1 installed can
be corrected or avoided by installing:
