Issue Description: 
ST336605FC model disk drives with F/W of 0438 (non-T3) or A338 (T3)
could be susceptible to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) events causing the loss
of the disks format table.  As a result the label is unreadable which would 
render the drive inoperable.
    
In the case of the V880 it appears that adding a second loop (B)
could cause enough ESD to have this occur.

In the case of the T3, no failures have yet been documented.

When this issue occurs, the following type of error messages may be 
seen in the /var/adm/messages file:

The root cause of the problem is faulty reads and writes due to Marvell
register reset after an ESD event.  Upon an ESD event to the drive, the
Marvell registers may experience a partial reset.  This disables the
secondary serial interface that FibreChannel firmware uses to
communicate with the channel and leaves only the primary serial
interface available for servo firmware to talk to the demodulator.
Thus reloading the channel registers through FC firmware has no effect
unless the servo firmware goes through initialization.  This means that
once the drive changes zones, the zone table parameters will not be
correct.  For read commands you will typically experience 03/1100 and
03/1600 errors.  Subsequent write commands will complete with good
status but will corrupt the sectors that are written to by writing at
the wrong frequency.  Since re-allocation typically occurs as a result
of 03/1100 errors in customer's environments, the drives become format
corrupt.  This is because the updates to the user tables are done at
the incorrect zone frequency.

The new firmware released by ECO WO_23669 contains a fix for the problem
identified in this FIN.

Corrective Action: 
An Authorized Enterprise Service Representative may avoid the above
mentioned problems by following the recommendations as shown below.

FOR NON-T3 DEVICES:

1. To prevent this issue from occurring, install Patch 109962-07 and 
   download F/W 0538 to Seagate 36GB ST336605FC and 73GB ST373405FC
   disk drives. 

2. If this problem has already occurred on a disk drive, one could use 
   'format -e' to reformat the disk.  However, the data will be corrupted 
   and the disk could still fail again without warning.  This is not
   recommended.  If such an event occurs, it is strongly suggested that 
   the disk be replaced and that the replacement disk have 0538 F/W 
   downloaded if necessary.

FOR T3 DEVICES:

1. To prevent this issue from occurring, install Patch 109115-11 (T3)
   or Patch 112276-02 (T3+) and download F/W A438 to Seagate 36GB 
   ST336605FC and 73GB ST373405FC disk drives. 
   
2. If this problem has already occurred on a disk drive, replace the 
   disk drive.

     respective accounts), at the convenience of the customer. 

iii) For REACTIVE FINs, Enterprise Services will implement the FIN as the   
     need arises.
