Issue Description:
The Sun Fire V880 rack mounting tray assembly, under certain conditions
comes to rest about 5mm too low, after the system is installed within the
tray. This misalignment might prevent installation of the retention screws
that hold the tray in position and secured to the cabinet. The retention
holes are located on the front bezel of the tray and attached to the cabinet.
As a result of this issue, the tray bracket may need to be replaced,
requiring system down time.
There are two screws (one each side) that prevent the tray from sliding
forward under adverse circumstance and could incur the tray fit issue on
a rack mounting tray. These retention screws are hard or impossible to
insert because of the misalignment. Weight of tray chassis together with
position of slots on mounting screws can prevent installation of locking
screws.
ECO WO_27731 has been released to the modify the front and rear rail
mounting bracket slide attachment points which have been moved up
to provide clearance for the front tray locking screws.
These rail brackets are not available through Sun Services as a FRU or
CRU.
