Issue Description:
Rackmount kit part number 370-5707-03 supplied as part of the Sun Fire
V210 and V240 Servers contains four sets of screws/nuts for mounting
the rackmount rails in various cabinets as follows:
A. M5x12.7 p/n GJ3C6003DI-PZS
B. M6x13 p/n GJ3C6005DI-ZZS
C. Nut p/n GG3C6007DI-ZZS
D. M4x5 p/n GJ3C002DI-NZS
However these screws are not compatible with the Sun 72" Delorean rack
which requires 10-32x0.5" screws.
The screws supplied in the Sun Fire V210 and V240 Accessory kit do not
fit the Sun 72" Delorean rack. Attempting to use the screws supplied
with the rackmount kit on this rack will result in the screw thread
being stripped.
The correct 10-32 screws were not included in the 370-5707-03
Rackmount
Kit supplied with Sun Fire V210/V240 systems.
The 370-5707-03 Rackmount kit will be modified to include four
10-32x0.5 Screws. In the meantime, if a customer needs to install a
Sun Fire V210 or V240 in a Sun 72" Delorean rack, the screws can be
obtained either locally from a hardware store or via the Non-FRU Parts
Process. See the corrective action section below for the part number.

Corrective Action:
The following recommendation is provided as a guideline for authorized
Sun Services Field Representatives who may encounter the above
mentioned issue.
If a customer needs to install a Sun Fire V210 or V240 in a Sun 72"
Delorean rack, and has a 370-5707-03 rackmount kit without the
appropriate screws, the screws can be obtained either locally from
a hardware store or via the Non-FRU Parts Process.
The 370-5707-03 Rackmount kit will be modified to include four 10-
32x0.5
screws.
To obtain the screws, follow the non-FRU Parts procedure documented at
the following URL:

The Vendor (Mitac) Part number/description of the screws is:
452710500006 SCREW KIT;#10-32,10 IN 1 BAG,FOR RACK,ENXS
This Mitac part number contains 10 x 10-32 screws.

Implementation Notes:

In case of "Mandatory" FINs, Sun Services will attempt to contact
all known customers to recommend proactive implementation.
For "Controlled Proactive" FINs, Sun Services mission critical
support teams will initiate proactive implementation efforts for
their respective accounts as required.
For "Reactive" FINs, Sun Services and partners will implement
the necessary corrective actions as the need arises.
Billing Information:

Warranty: On-Site Labor Rates are based on specified Warranty deliverables
for the affected product.
Contract: On-Site Labor Rates are based on the type of service contract.
Non Contract: On-Site implementation by Sun is available based on On-Site
Labor Rates defined in the Price List.
