Notes

1. The minimum operating system is Solaris 8 2/02.
2. Support for 1GHz processors is in OBP 4.5 Version 10.
3. The minimum recommended OBP is 4.5 Version 16.
4. Mixing UltraSPARC III Cu module speeds is not supported.
5. Mixing UltraSPARC III and UltraSPARC III Cu is not supported.
6. Sun Fire 280R systems need Fan Tray X9820A (540-5088) to support 501-6395.
   Systems built and shipped after December 4, 2001, will include the fan tray.
7. Use torque tool 340-6091 or 340-6395 to install this module.
   Both are calibrated to 5.0 +/- 0.5 in/lbs (.565 Nm).
8. A torque tool is included with systems that use this module.
9. If only one CPU module is installed, it must be in Slot 0, and Slot 1 should be covered with a CPU Shroud Cover.
