Notes
- Sun Fire 4800 ships with 300-1460.
Sun Fire E4900 ships with 300-1596, 300-1837, 300-1931, or 300-2224.
- Sun Fire 4800 requires 300-1596, 300-1837, 300-1931, 300-2224, or 300-2226
with UltraSPARC IV.
Three 300-1596 power supplies are in upgrade kit X4800-USIV-KIT.
Three 300-2226 power supplies are in upgrade kit X4800-USIV-KIT-Z.
- Mixing power supply part numbers is not supported except during an upgrade.
- Mixing 300-1596, 300-1931, or 300-2226 with Sun Fire 4800 Fan Trays
FT0 540-4345, FT1 540-4344, or FT2 540-3586 is not supported.
- The 300-1931 was replaced by 300-2226 because of DecaBDE in the
ejector handle resin.
- The European Unions October 12, 2005 exemption 2005/717/EC for use of
DecaBDE from Directive 2002/95/EC ended July 1, 2008.
- The 300-2226 is not used in new system builds of the E4900 (as of 08/11/08).
- The 300-2226 replaced 300-1931 in X4800-USIV-KIT-Z in August 2008.
