Notes

  1. Install memory in pairs, beginning with Bank 1, Slots 1A and 1B.
  2. When mixing sizes, install 256/512MB DIMMs in Bank 1 and 1/2GB DIMMs in Bank 2.
  3. DIMM failure LEDs are located between the DIMM sockets and CPU 1.
  4. An illuminated LED indicates a double-bit DIMM error.

256MB DIMM Notes

  1. Infineon 256MB DIMM 370-6038 was released in May 2003.
  2. Micron was added as a second source in March 2004.
  3. F370-6038-01 includes one 370-6038 256MB DIMM.
  4. F370-6038-02 includes two 370-6038 256MB DIMMs from the same vendor.
  5. Do Not mix Infineon and Micron DIMMs in the same bank.

2GB DIMM Notes

  1. 2GB DIMM 370-6041 was released in May 2003 and inactivated in January 2004.
  2. Option 5125 with 2GB DIMM 370-6041 was not shipped.
  3. 2GB DIMM 370-6141 was released in Jaunary 2004.
  4. F370-6141 includes two 370-6141 2GB DIMMs.
  5. 2GB DIMMs have not been tested with 256MB, 512MB, and 1GB DIMMs.
  6. Mixing 2GB DIMMs with 256MB, 512MB, and 1GB DIMMs is not supported.
