  2. Bills of Materials for the Fan/Heatsink are not available.
  3. Approved Vendor Lists for the Fan/Heatsink are not available.
  4. FRU F370-5126 includes Fan/Heatsink 370-5126 or 370-7786.
  5. Fan/Heatsink 370-5126 is not qualifed for 1.336GHz or 1.503GHz system boards.
  6. Fan/Heatsink 370-7786 is qualifed for 1.336GHz or 1.503GHz system boards.

Installation Notes

  1. Sun Fire V210 and V240 airflow is from front to rear.
  2. The wire harness is located on the exhaust side of the fan.
  3. The manufacturers label is located on the exhaust side of the fan.
  4. The fan is installed with the exhaust side towards the heatsink.
  5. Install the Fan/Heatsink with the fan towards the front of the system.



System Airflow and CPU Fan/Heatsink Orientation

The CPU Fan/Heatsinks in these photos are incorrectly installed.
Fans are incorrectly installed with the exhaust side facing away from the heatsink.
Correct installation would position the fans towards the front of the system
with the exhaust side facing the heatsink(s).
