Notes

  1. The minimum operating system is Solaris 8 2/04 or Solaris 9 4/04.
  2. The Centerplane provides motherboard functionality, including bridge control of the PCI and Safari busses, and EBus, Ethernet, FC-AL, and I2C controllers.
  3. The 2.1GHz CPU requires 501-7703. No motherboard upgrade is available.
  4. Sun Fire V490 base configuration V490-BASE-2100-Z includes 501-7703.

Component Notes

  1. DC-DC Converter (3.3V) 300-1437 is not available as a FRU.
  2. DC-DC Converter (1.5V) 300-1438 is not available as a FRU.
  3. Ethernet controllers are Cassini+ or Cassini CR .2µm.
  4. ELE 1.1+ became an alternate component for SCHIZO in August 2004. (WO_29730)
