Impact All Sun StorEdge 6920 Systems with Storage Resource Card (SRC2), FRU Number 540-5768-05, fail to boot with systems running version 2.0.4 or earlier. Note: Only rev -05 cards are affected. Symptoms
Root Cause The Galileo Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART) code is very CPU intensive due to the fact that input interrupts do not work on the RevB Galileo, causing failure to boot. Workaround If a SRC2 card (FRU 540-5768-05) is installed, the system must be upgraded to version 2.0.5 or higher (this can includes 3.0.x versions).
