Symptoms
Sun Enterprise[TM] 3x00-6x00 servers show-post-results: slot 16 - Status=Fail, Type: Clock (Triger=)

Description:

If show-post-results on Sun Enterprise 3x00-6x00 servers results with Slot 16 Clock board reporting a failed component Triger =*** ,

then POST has detected a 'hotplug_logic' fault within the systems hot pluggable circuitry.

Resolution
The 'HOTPLUG_LOGIC' fault may be caused by bad hardware, a system board that is partially inserted, or a bent/broken pin in the centerplane.
A faulty clock board or disk board can also be suspected.

Please check the suspected board's connectors and those on the backplane/centerplane, reseat it, and if that fails, replace it.
