Symptoms
A link between a Sun Fire [TM] V240 with a bge interface and a Cisco Catalyst

WS-C4006 is not established well as long as the ports
- are left in default configuration or
- are set to 1Gb/s full-duplex forced (autonegotiation off).
The link shows poor performance due to high input packet errors at the bge
interface.

Resolution
Set the bge interface to 1Gb/s full-duplex fixed with autonegotiation
enabled at the SF V240 and also enable autonegotiation at the Cisco Catalyst
WS-C4006 port:
