Symptoms
Customer is using the Serial Over Lan feature. He is unable to get any console output after the BIOS but before the system is jumpstarted. Normal output would be to see the boot net information.

Resolution
Found that the terminal setting in the BIOS was set to vt100 plus. Asked customer to set it to vt100. Customer reset the platform, but still got the same problem. Could not see the system boot from the network. Asked customer to reboot the SP. After doing so, the customer was able to see the boot net output that you would normally see from a jumpstart.
