Available tools to clear the logs are the serial, OS ipmitool and the Java web gui. Clear the logs connected serially and or ssh into the ILOM, ELOM or SP: On the Galaxies (Sun Fire[TM]X4100/Sun Fire[TM]X4200/Sun Fire[TM]X4600):

2. Clear the logs by ipmitool in the OS for Solaris or Linux:
Please note: Depending on the version of ipmitool running, the -I could be lan, bmc or open Interfaces: bmc IPMI v2.0 BMC interface [default] Please note: for the Sun Fire[TM] X2100/Sun Fire[TM] X2100 M2/Sun Fire[TM] X2200 M2 with the smdc option card you could clear the logs using the above ipmitool command. 3. Clear the logs by using the web browser: 1) Type "https://<ip_ilom>" in the url
