To replace a HandBot:
Caution: Potential Equipment Damage. The upper preload assembly (brushes) can break if improperly aligned before tightening the screws.
1. Press in the spring-loaded roller to relieve the tension as you insert the HandBot on the lower rail.
2. Move the top of the HandBot assembly toward the upper rail, resting the top rollers on the upper rail.
3. Push up on the upper preload assembly, placing the rollers behind the rail. You may have to press each roller against spring tension to position the rollers behind the upper rail.
4. Carefully align the upper preload assembly with the upper frame so there is no gap between the two parts.
5. Make sure both the lower rollers are underneath and behind the rail.
6. Tighten both T15 screws evenly and securely.
7. Remove the rail brush locking lever shipping tape, if present, and move the locking lever forward to engage the brushes. (If you do not lock the brushes in place. There will be no power to the HandBot.)
8. Move the HandBot back and forth slightly to verify that it glides easily.
Any binding could damage the brushes.
If the HandBot does not move easily, recheck your work.
Remove and re-install the HandBot if necessary.
