Steps to Follow
Sun StorEdge[TM] T3 loop card failures

NOTE: This is a sub-set of <Document: 1018272.1> "Troubleshooting Sun StorEdge[TM] T3 Configuration."  This document will help with faulted loop cards based on similar "fru stat" output below:

LOOP STATUS STATE MODE CABLE1 LB CABLE2 LB TEMP
------ ------- ---------- ------- --------- -- --------- -- ----
u1l1 ready enabled master - - installed 10 27
u1l2 ready
disabled
    slave - - installed 11 33
u2l1 ready enabled master installed 10 - - 27
u2l2 offline

Troubleshooting Steps:

1.  Enable loop card with "enable u#[1|2]" command.

Example:

storage-t3b:/:<3>enable u1l2

2.  Verify that the loop card is now ready and enabled with the "fru stat" command.

NOTE:  Wait about 1 minute before running "fru stat" as to allow the array to recover.

3.  If the loop card is still not ready enabled, then replace loop card.
