SolutionSteps to FollowThe non-RoHS system boards and RoHS system boards on Sun Fire T2000 are NOT compatible (interchangeable), so a non-RoHS system board can NOT be replaced by a RoHS-compliant system board and vice versa. 1. When replacing the T2000 system board (motherboard), make sure that you are using the correct FRU part number. The part number of the system board can be determined by visual inspection of the part# label on the motherboard or by using the SC command showfru (for details refer to How to determine motherboard part number on Sun Fire T2000) Example with 'showfru' procedure (in case it is not possible to check ). Note: You'll need to be connected and login to the SC before using the 'showfru' command. sc> showfru MB/SEEPROM In this example, 501-7501 is the generic part number common to all RoHS T2000 motherboards (4, 6 or 8 cores): /ManR/Sun Part No: 5017501 The correct FRU Part Number is found after the generic one, 541-1454 in this case:/Configured_LevelR/Sun_Part_No: 5411454
