The following describes the allowed transport (drive) model types, by library:

SL8500 library

• T9840A
• T9840B
• T9840C
• T9840D
• T9940B
• LTO
• SDLT
• T10000A
• T10000B

SL3000 library

• T9840C
• T9840D
• LTO
• SDLT
• T10000A
• T10000B

Please note that the LTO and SDLT model types are only allowed in an HSC controlled library for use by LibraryStation clients.  These two drive types cannot be connected to a mainframe.
