Description
This document would explain the details of required steps to confirm network settings are correct

Steps to Follow
We will provide an overview of confirming correct network settings in LDOM
***NOTE*** Configuration changes to LDoms need to be saved to the SP using the
ldm(1M) add-config subcommand. If not, the configurations will be lost when the
primary domain is rebooted.

We are using one control domain and two guest domains in the below configuration
# /opt/SUNWldm/bin/ldm ls
NAME             STATE      FLAGS   CONS    VCPU  MEMORY   UTIL  UPTIME
primary          active            -n-cv-       SP             8         896M         0.2%   10d 20h 24m
ldom01           active           -n----      5000           8            1G           0.0%   2d 14h 49m
ldom02           active           -n----      5001           8             1G          0.0%   1d 14h 40m

  1.  ping test ( non hybrid )
      a) from guest domain to control domain/primary domain
         ldom01> ping 10.5.60.232
                 10.5.58.211 is alive

      b) from one guest domain(ldom01) to another guest domain(ldom02) which are on the same subnet
         ldom01> ping 10.5.63.113
                 10.5.63.113 is alive

      c) from guest domain to external machine IP address
         ldom01># ping  10.5.58.211
