This article documents Sun Storage J4000 Series Arrays' components firmware baseline bundled in each corresponding CAM release and patched versions.

This document assumes the relevant array product is managed with Common Array Manager. This reference can be used by end-user and all levels of support personnel for purpose of verifying component firmware and management software compatibility.

^c Patches 14006[012]-01, J4200,J4400 firmware patch; requires CAM core patch 14006[456]-01 containing API version 3S19.

^d Patches 14006[456]-02, CAM core patch -01 cannot be applied on CLI only install; includes all fixes in -01.

^e Patches 14006[012]-02, Disk ST35000NS firmware patch; includes all fixes in -01; requires 14006[456]-01 or newer.

^f CAM 6.4.0.10 does NOT support J4000/B6000! It was released urgently due to SA256288 for 6000/2500 and skipped over 6.3.0 which was in development for support of SAS Zoning and F5100, consequently JBOD related packages bundled in 6.4.0 was not ready for release.

^g CAM 6.4.1.5 restored support for J4000/B6000 and add support for SAS Zoning and F5100.

^h Patch 141581-01 is for CAM 6.5.0.10 on Windows only, CAM version becomes 6.5.0.11. Fixes CR6877044 J4500 firmware update from Win2k8 Management Host fails with error java.io.IOException, and CR6875870 for incomplete l10n files.

ⁱ Patches 142{798|799|800}-01, Seagate drive firmware SU0E for J4000, and Exmoor M2 7.35.50.10 for 2500.

^j Patches 142{798|799|800}-02, Seagate drive firmware SU0F for J4200/4400, includes SU0E (retained for J4500) and ExmoorM2 for 2500 from firmware patch -01.

^k Patch 144861-01 is for CAM 6.7.0.12 on Windows only, CAM version becomes 6.7.0.13, fixes: Win2008 undefined constant; J4410 reporting incorrect chassis serial number.

^l Patches 14596[567]-02, Seagate drive firmware 0D92 for J4200/J4400/2500 & 3292 for 6000; 2500 controller firmware 07.35.55.11; 6000 controller firmware 07.60.53.10.
