DELIVERY REQUIREMENT: Estimate AP Duration = 0.5 hours FIELD ENGINEER INSTRUCTIONS WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? : WHAT ACTION DOES THE ENGINEER NEED TO TAKE: Cable Dongle is typically provided with each Sun Blade 6000 Chassis System. Additional cables may be ordered. You can use the VGA or USB connectors on the dongle cable to communicate with the server module BIOS and operating system. You should use the dongle cable only for configuration and service purposes. Disconnect the dongle cable from the server module after the configuration or service operation is complete to avoid damaging the cable. Connect it into the front panel I/O device connection. The front panel provides an Universal Connection Port to attach devices directly to the server using a dongle cable. Attach each device into the 3-Cable dongle. Use the RJ-45 adapter to attach an Ethernet Cable to it. Use the VGA module to attach a VGA Monitor to it. Use the USB portion of the cable to attach an USB Mouse and/or Keyboard to it. Caution -- The dongle cable should be used only for configuration and service purposes. It should be disconnected from the server module when the configuration or servicing operation is completed.
