2. Verify the Power Supply LED is green.

3. Verify the eventlog or persistent-event log by issuing the sccli> show event or sccli> show persistent-event

to determine that the array is not reporting failures or absent events.

4. For 35x0 arrays,  review    :"Sun Storage[TM] 3510 FC Array Experiences Unexpected SES Events",  to verify there are no  false Power Supply failures reported.

For example:

5. Verify the troubleshooting steps in the Power Supply and Fan Module section in the latest revision of the
Sun StorEdge 3000 Family Installation, Operation, and Service Manual. For the Sun StorEdge[TM] 3510 FC and 3511 SATA Arrays, refer to Document ID: 816-7300, and for the Sun StorEdge[TM] 33x0 SCSI Array, refer to Document ID: 819-1274.

6. If there are no problems encountered with the power supplies, refer back to  :  Troubleshooting Sun StorEdge [TM] 33x0/351x Hardware .
