Netra[tm] 440 Server: Repair Procedures

This section provides the most common repair procedures for the Netra 440. The repair procedures are provided in the following manual:

Component Tips
JBus
  • JETO (JBus Error Time Out) can be encountered on any system with the JBus (FAB 1019032.1).
Memory Modules
  • Minimum OBP version is required to support new DIMMs with 333MHz dual data rate. (FIN I1148-1).
Fan
  • Incorrect part number on Netra 440 Fan Assembly. (FAB 1019523.1).
CPU/Memory Module
  • System may fail self-test with "OBP (Open Boot PROM) not responding" on Sun Fire V440 and Netra 440 (FIN I1098-1).
